Between Google, Motorola and NVIDIA, big things are coming to Android in the form of a tablet. Google VP Andy Rubin showed off the device, currently named the Motorola Everest, at the D: Dive into Mobile conference as we showed you yesterday. With NVIDIA under the hood with its 1 GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor running the show, the tablet is expected to be fast. According to Rubin, this model is currently the lead Honeycomb Android powered device.
The device could end up being called the Motorola Stingray, Motorola Everest or the Motorola Motopad. It is expected to offer a 10 inch screen and support Big Red's 4G LTE network. And while there is no speculation as to when we might see this tablet launched, there are three big industry trade shows due in the beginning of 2011 and at any one of those shows we could see the tablet get released. Pricing is another issue where silence has been, at least up to now, golden.
